Pro-logue....to Epiphany
Bless, bless and be
blessed,
may Panagia be always with you
,
have a nice week,
and a blessed new year....
We are spiritually transferred
from Bethlehem to the Jordan desert,
and we will see a new and
extraordinary mystery through the eyes of our soul..
Precedingly, we saw an infant
,the most perfect god ,and now in Epiphany we see
a perfect godman and a strange
miracle and spectacle.
In the first place,shepherds
and wise men
knelt before the Lord and
later on a called servant baptized the Lord.
Precedingly, angels praised
and glorified..:
...glory to God in the
highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased...
subsequently, a fatherly
divine voice proclaimed the Lord...This is my Son ,the beloved. Listen to
him!...
From the swaddling clothes of
the manger ,to the currents of the Jordan river...
From the flee to Egypt due to
Herod's viciousness ,to the desert and the forty days of fasting against the
intelligible Herod the one who fights and condemns our souls.
Let us follow the path where
the star goes ,and follow the sun of justice.
Let us not only ask for the
radiance of Tabor and the unsetting light of the resurrection but also adhere
to The very King and our God...and to the humble and inconspicuous cave of
Bethlehem, to the persecution and flee to Egypt,
to the forty days of fasting
with the temptations and our tribulations ,
to the Mount of Olives,
to the Jordan desert,
to the homilies,
to Lazarus,
to the entry into
Jerusalem,
to the anguish in Gesthemane,
to the betrayal ,but without
betraying anything concerning our faith and what our fathers handed over ,
to the arrest,
to the praetorium,
to Pontius Pilate,
to the prison,
to Annas and Caiaphas,
to the trial,
to the court,
to the smacking,
to the slapping,
to the spitting,
to the laughter,
to the chiton,
to the reed,
to the sponge,
to the vinegar,
to the gall,
to the partition, to the
abandonment, without abandoning Him,
to the cobbled path,
to the Golgotha,
to the burial,
to the garden, to the empty
and new tomb..
in order to savour the
unsetting light of the Resurrection and listen to the Lord's voice..
All hail...peace be unto
you...
May all the people on earth
relish and savour this peace because our brothers and sisters in the triumphant
church experience it and are within its energy...
Blessed New Year...and let us
prepare ourselves to be enlightened....through sprinkling.
